The Concept Goal
Portlaw Credit Union requires a clear, ultra-fast digital presence to serve its members. This design concept re-imagines the financial portal to eliminate mobile layout friction and dramatically improve page load performance across all devices.
The objective was to build a lightweight, responsive financial interface with instant asset delivery, interactive loan calculation tools, and accessible navigation paths for mobile users.
Mobile Priority & Interactivity
Members frequently check details on their smartphones. I prioritised an interactive loan calculator with immediate visual feedback, allowing users to estimate payments without navigating complicated tables.
The Colour Strategy
I selected an emerald-inspired palette reflecting community growth, financial stability, and local heritage.

Typography
Headings use Outfit, a clean geometric sans-serif that projects modernity and confidence. Body text is set in Inter (a neutral, legible typeface built for dense financial information like rates and terms).
Built for Member Self-Service
Much of what members need (a rough loan estimate, current savings rates, or how to join) does not require a phone call if the site makes it easy to find. The concept includes an interactive loan estimator and a clear membership pathway, so members can work out eligibility and take action directly online.
